"Thanks
for getting back to me. I got the panels and put them into a couple
of older Peavey 15 and horn cabs and had enough left over to do
my Yorkville 100 KB wedge (which I use as an extension for my acoustic
amp) and the results were exactly what you claimed they would be.
The rest of the guys want to do their stuff as well so would you
please get back to me with the amount etc. and I'll get the money
order off ASAP. I'll be getting 30 more. Thanks again and good
luck to you."

"I
am bassist Tony hill, I recently installed Carl Billington’s Bassline
inside panels into a two ten bass cabinet, and it improved the
overall sound. After a little adjustments of my EQ, the low end
is smoother, which is great for 5 & 6 string bass players and the
mids tight, punchy for the 4 string slappers. For very a inexpensive
way to improve your sound Bassline inside panels are the way to
go. I will install them in all of my cabs."

"I
tried out the cabinet and I really like the tight sound. I had
my doubts after seeing the panels that it would do much good. But
I think they are every bit as good as you described them to be.
I'm using a 2X12 cab with Eminence Kappa 12A's and it shakes
the walls but doesn't have any of the hollow overtones and
dead distorted sound these speakers had in a different non-insulated
cabinet (Bandmaster)."

Hi
Carl.O.K. Let's see...
"I
used the cab, with the new liner last night. The room is not bass
friendly! High ceilings, glass behind the stage kind of thing. Not
the best room around for testing gear. But... The amp is a 22 year
old G.K. 800r.b. driving a single 15"
Bag End 8 ohm cab at 200 watts. It is a small bullet-proof rig. It
is LOUD for the size. The Bag End cab is rear ported, so I have had
some problems with low end boom off to the sides of the cab in certain
situations, or types of rooms. That problem is apparently gone! I
was getting nice clear low end off to the sides. At first I thought
I didn't have enough low end, but there was plenty. It was just cleaner
than before.
Second, the volume was noticeable louder! I turned down the bass,
and the output level at the amp. It was still pretty loud, and I
wasn't running through the mains. A loud little rig to begin with,
now appears to be even louder, because all the sound absorbent batting
inside the cab is gone.
When I asked my guitar player what he was hearing, he said he wasn't
hearing enough mid range. So not having done anything different at
the amp e.g., that means I'm getting a lot better low, AND high end.
The high end seems a bit cleaner too. So, I added some low, and high
MIDS, and had to turn down even more!!
The bassline seems to fool you at first because the bottom is clean,
so it can give the illusion that you need more lows. You really don't,
because twenty, or so feet out, the bottom is really kicking. Onstage,
it's clean, so it doesn't boom. By the second set, I had it dialed
in, and it never sounded so clean!
So, I'm trying to get the absolute most I can get out of a smallest
possible rig. The bassline liner is a great improvement in my sound!!
I'll have to try it in my 700r.b./210 combo!!
Thanks Carl."

"As
I recall, that was the name of a song a few years ago. Anyway, I
have tested your product on some old and some newer (still old),
Klipsch Cornwall's and I am impressed. I don't have an oscilloscope
but have a CD of the basic bands. In the boxes with no BassLine panels,
I cannot hear the 40cps band
— maybe just barely, but in the 2 boxes with one side and the back
stripped of the paper insulation and the BassLine panels installed,
I hear a very strong 40cps band. I still can't hear 30 but that
may require some serious box modifications or just plain new boxes.
I am very impressed with your product and will be back for more in
time."

"Whoah!!!!
What a difference in sound! Way more low-end at the same volume and
tone settings. Also way more volume (especially in the low end) at
the same knob settings. It really sounds like a whole new amp with
about a 50 watts more power. And the quality of the low end is so
much smoother and seems to have much less distortion or undesirable
overtones. At least that's what my ears tell me. I highly recommend
this product to any bass player who wants to get more, better, smoother,
louder bass from their bass rig. It really does work! Thanks much."

well. Thanks again and also for personally helping me with my order."

"I
did one of my home speakers(JBL) and a/b'ed the two . I did notice
more low mid bass than the untreated one. I'll do that one and
a 15" cab(EV) I play out with. My bands website www.ptmeatbox.com.
Thanks for the invention!"

"Yes,
I want more......
I didn't do a sceintific A / B test, but the one (4 x 10) cabinet
I did really seemed to "tighten"
things up and allow higher power without distortion. I have a second
4 x 10 (the cabs are both Carvins, one rather old, one newer) I can use
for conclusive testing, but I got good results with the ("old")
box. I've got a 1 x18 I might use this next batch on, though...then
I've got 2ea. 2 x 10 boxes, and I'm getting ready to build a
1 x 12 (of all things), so I've got a few options...keep my address
handy..
I used 23 1/2 panels for the 4 x 10 and I covered pretty much everything
except the baffle board. This particular box had a very large center
post (center board?) which required 2 1/3 panels!
— I wasn't sure if I needed to "treat" that piece or not,
but I had enough extra, so I did.
So, let's do another!"

" By
this time we have all read or heard about the attempts being made
by one of the major CD makers at thwarting CD duplication by imbedding
a sinister digital code into the disc itself that will supposedly
prevent ripping and burning equipment from performing their task,
or causing untold damage to the computer system being used for such
an action. ...And undoubtedly by now we have all also read or heard
how all this high technology was overcome quite simply by the proverbial
mightier pen.
How could such a simple solution actually work?
Well, this was the same question I found myself asking when learning
of BassLine Acoustic Refinement for Bass Reflex Speakers. Could such
a seemingly simple solution actually improve my tone measurably,
indeed introducing me to "a new dimension in sound"
as claimed?
Reading on into the theory of BassLine Panels, I was further intrigued
as BassLine proceeded to list, in revealing detail, all the complaints
I had with my old 1x15"
bass cabinet (Had they heard my tone?) and then went on to educate
me as to exactly how their product would correct them, all in terms
I easily understood! Tempting this Bass player with
"Bigger Cleaner Bass ...Without Distortion!"
was all it took. But the clincher? The "100% Satisfaction Guarantee"
had me clicking the e-mail button!
I installed the panels easily, using a few basic tools and with a
minimum of cutting involved, but before reinstalling the speaker
I placed my head in the empty cab to hear firsthand the sonic ability
of the newly lined speaker enclosure. All it took was a spoken
"boom, boom"
and the subsonic frequencies were VERY evident! Reminding me of my
teenage neighbor's Honda returning home at an early hour of the
morning. I eagerly bolted the speaker back into the opening and connected
the amp with all the excitement of a child on Christmas Day. I took
note of the late hour, considered my neighbor, but figured- all's
fair.
Starting with a low E note and slapping it percussively, I started
to grin, my grin becoming a smile and ending with an amazing laugh!
The cabinet had been reborn with lower lows than it had ever emitted
before and adding a tighter, punchier attack to my low-mids with
the clearer response to each note giving newfound clarity to my phrasing.
The effect on my funk playing was most noteworthy. The increase in
forward projection from the cab was like a punch. The slapped notes
were truly FELT not just heard.
Bandmates at rehearsal were equally impressed with the improvement,
not only in my sound alone, but with the sonic clarity it provided
to the whole unit. My bass no longer rumbled loudly like we all had
come accustomed to. We were all clearly being introduced to "a
new dimension in sound"
as promised. Plans were immediately discussed for the PA mains as
well as the monitors and the guitarist was asking me for the URL
for BassLine.
Returning to the BassLine web site, I was not surprised to find that
the inventor is also an artist. It takes an artist's mind to
see such a design flaw that we all unknowingly live with everyday
and find such an easy, inexpensive solution to enlighten us all to
a better perception of the world around us.
Thank you Carl for your insight, on behalf of us all.

"In
the Fall of 1998 we made arrangements for the Loft Cabaret speakers
to have BassLine SpeakerPanels installed in them.
"The work was carried out by carl Billington (inventor) and
engineer Steve Choptiany. I am informed by our Sound Technician,
Steve Choptiany, that before the BassLine was installed in
the 6-18 inch sub woofers built by Alan Reimer of Reimer Audio (Nanaimo,
BC) the volume was maxed right out. Since the installation there
is better efficiency and 1/3 volume potential left on the amps with
the same sound produced. It was also noted that the BASS sound from
the subs was crisper and cleaner, eliminating distortion.
